Hi! My name is Taryn Fujita. I like to eat tacos and my favorite color is midnight blue. I love to draw pictures on the computer. This web page means a lot to me because I have always wanted a pet but could never get one. So making this page gave me a chance to learn a lot about pets, especially about the animals I studied -- cats and turtles. Creating this page was great and is an experience to remember.

Hi! My name is Ruby Kim. I participate in the enrichment program at Lunalilo School. In this program, we learned how to create this Web page. I had fun doing the drawings in Kid Pix. I'm a mouse owner, so I did the section on mice and rats and was happy to share what I know about them. I hope you enjoy our project and all the different animals. Pet Team Members

I'm Lauren Higashino. I like to dance, go horseback riding, and swim in my spare time. My favorite subjects are art and science. I also like to listen to CDs and hang out with my friends. Although I sometimes got a little stressed, working on this project really taught me things I never knew about pets, such as being aware of the different things to think about when choosing an animal for a pet.

This is Alex Hayashi. I decided to be on the pets team because I like animals and always wanted a pet. In my spare time I like to play volleyball, jump rope, run around, draw animals, go on the roof of my garage, and bother my older sister. On the Internet I use e-mail and go to the Digimon Web site. My favorite cartoons are "Digimon: Digital Monsters." My favorite character is Gabumon. I also like Patamon. My favorite color is dark red. I want people to learn that having a pet rabbit is a big responsibility. My classroom teacher has a pet rabbit named Smokey. Unlike other rabbits, Smokey is calm and he hardly bites or scratches. I taught Smokey some tricks like staying still, jumping over things, and bringing clothes pins onto my hand. I also want people to know that their Humane Society is the first place to look for a pet.

Hi! My name is Gloria Hong. My hobbies are illustrating fine works of art and watching my fish swim around in their world of wonder. Also I love to play catch and tag with my siblings, Trudy and Daniel. In my spare time I like to read mystery books and books of different genre. I hope that our Web site will educate you about how to care for pets and not to abuse them but love them. After all, they are our friends and companions. Also I really hope that if you would like a pet, you will visit a Humane Society near you. Care for your pets because who knows, someday your pets will care for you!

Hi, I'm Melvyne Mitsui. In my spare time I like to listen to CDs, dance, play volleyball, and hang out with my friends, who include girls and boys from my school. My friends are really important to me! My favorite musicians are 'N Sync, Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, and Brandy. When I grow up, I want to be a singer. Right now, my role model is Britney Spears. My favorite color is midnight blue.
