| Makahs Days is a celebration that we Makahs celebrate. Some people set up stands and sell stuff like fish, Dream catchers, and they have a traditional salmon bake, and more. There are to be NO cars during this whole day. Makah Days lasts for three (3) days. They have Makah Days on the road, on Front street. On Makah Days they have canoe races, talent shows and more. It doesn't matter if you are little you can still be in the talent show. That is what people do on Makah Days. | |

The Makahs did many things for entertainment. One form of entertainment was kelp cars. Kelp cars were toys made out of kelp. You make kelp cars by cutting 4 round round pieces of kelp. Then you stick two sticks through a hollow tube of kelp. Then you stick the round pieces of kelp onto the sticks and your done! You make the kelp car move by taking the large top of the kelp and dragging it along the ground. I hope you take the time to make your own kelp car! |
