September 23 National Day
Ramadan is a religious holiday. During this month, the Muslims do not eat, drink or smoke from sunrise to sunset. Eating in public is not permitted even by the foreigners
Eid al Fitr is at the end of Ramadan and is a three day feast. People visit elderly relatives and children get gifts and new clothes.
Eid al Adha is the Feast of Sacrifice. Hajj takes place in the Feast of Sacrifice.
