Food in Australia
Australians generally eat three meals a day, in addition to morning and afternoon tea. Tea actually features coffee more than tea. Australian cuisine is an evolving blend of European Asian foods. Popular dishes include steak, roast lamb and lamb chops, sausage, seafood, pasta, and meat pies. Stir fries and other westernized Asian foods are common too. Dinner may consist of some kind of meat, potatoes, vegetables, and salad, followed by dessert (ice cream, fruit salad, or pudding) and coffee. Fruits and vegetables are grown every year.
