Zeus

Zeus was one of the many  gods that lived in Mount Olympus.  He lived  there with his whole family.  Mount Olympus is a place made out of all clouds and mountains and is where only gods and goddesses live. The only one who did not live there was Hades, who lived in the underworld.   Since Zeus is a god, he lives in Mount Olympus, too.  His family is a very large family and he had hundreds of brothers and sisters.  His father was Cronus and Zeus was also the father of Apollo and Artemis. Artemis and Apollo were brother and sister. One of his wives was Hera and she was very beautiful.  Zeus was the Alpha of the gods.  He ruled Mount Olimpus and created everyone.  Zeus' father Cronus  never knew that Zeus was born because his mother Rhea had Zeus on an island.  The reason why Cronus was after Zeus was because he did not want anyone else taking over Mount Olympus. Cronus wanted to take over by himself. That was why Cronus was eating all of Zeus' brothers and sisters.  Zeus married lots of  women in his life.  He married Metis but Metis passed away.  After Metis passed away, Zeus married Hera. She was a very beautiful goddess.  No one really knows what happened with Zeus and his family, but we have evidence that it might be true!
