I am Artemis, the huntress, protector of children and goddess of the moon.  I hate all men, just like Hera.Hera is the queen of the gods and like a sister to me.My twin brother is Apollo, the god of archery, (like I am).He is also the god of prophecy and music and also the god of the son.  Apollo was born on the island of Delos.  I never knew this until yesterday, I heard Hera saying to a servant that my mother, who I never knew ,was a Titan, and was visiting tthe own.  She said to the servant to make sure my mother, Leto, would never see me.  No matter what, I will see my mother.

Dear Diary,

 I am feeling a little better about yesterday.  What cheered me up the most is this - When Hera and I  were gossiping about something Zeus had done, she told me that Aphrodite, the goddess of love, thought her husband, Hephaestus, the blacksmith of the gods and god of fire, was a complete ditz!  The way it sounded,  Aphrodite and Ares might be getting hitched, and real soon.  I always knew they looked good together!  The only problem is that if Hephaestus finds out, then  Aresand him will fight to the ......FINISH! Also for the books,  Hephaestus and Ares are brothers!  Ares would probably win since heís the god of war but Hephaestus is the god of fire and the blacksmith for the gods.  Theyíre pretty even ;y matched, if you ask me.  However, if they fight ,Zeus would come out and stop the war and solve the problem in his kingly way!  (heís such a spoilsport!)Well, that's all the gossip I have today.  GOOD NIGHT.

 Today, I met my mother!  Hera must never find out!  She is with me and tomorrow I will take her to safety.  Also, I will meet my brother, Apollo. Goodbye.

  Hera has found out!  There is no happy ending for me.  All of my dreams have become nightmares!  I canít bear to sleep knowing that I will never see my family again.

  Hera has sentenced my mother to death.  I will help her escape and then leave her.  This is my last entry forever. I wish I was mortal so one day I could reunite with my mother. GOOD-BYE.
