Africa

 

Africa is the second largest continent. The penguins there live on the rocky coast. They stay on the southern coasts, and usually don't go any farther than that. Penguins, like the African, live on the coasts, where waves are common. Penguins live around 30 degrees east to 20 degrees east longitude, 30 south degrees latitude.

South America

 

South America is home to many tropical rain forests. Penguins stay on the coast. It is fairly warm in all seasons, but it gets really hot in the summer. The coasts are very sandy, and there are very few rocks. The penguins live around 75 degrees west to 65 degrees west longitude, 40 south degrees latitude.

Galapagos Islands

 

The Galapagos Islands are small islands in the southern hemisphere. The penguins live no farther north then the small islands. Penguins live around the sandy coasts of the islands. They eat small fish like anchovie and sardine. The islands are located in the southern hemisphere, and no penguins live any farther north. Penguins live around 90 degrees west longitude, 2 degrees south latitude.

Antarctica

 

Antarctica is extemely cold, and few animals live there. There are penguins, seals, orcas, fish, and some squid. Penguins stay at the coast. Antarctica is around ninety-eight percent ice, and near two percent rock. It is sometimes known as a "freezing wasteland" because it is so cold and barren. Penguins live around 90 degrees west to 80 degrees east longitude, 85 degrees south latitude.
