Holes

This book has won the National Book Award for Children’s Literature.
In this book Stanley Yelnats was given a choice to either go to jail or to go to Camp Green Lake.He chose Camp Green Lake.
When he arrived at the "camp" he saw there was no lake, almost nothing was green, and he would soon find out it wasn’t much of a camp. The counselors make them dig holes: they say it builds character. But is that the real reason?
