Tobin’s Palm

    A delightul story full of twists and absurd but somehow completely believable situations with a fine example of one of the shocker endings O. Henry is so well known for. A man takes his down on his luck friend Tobin out to cheer him up and Tobin gets him palm read. Then all the predictions start coming true in unexpected ways. I was almost rolling on the floor when Tobin proclaimed he would follow a certain man until the end of time for it was predicted that the man would bring him good luck. A very nice story at what I would say is a fourth grade reading level.
