This is a story about the unsuccessful ransom of a troublesome little boy that is very well known for good reason. It is funny, surprising, and all around an enjoyable read.
    Many of O. Henry’s stories are relatively uneventful until the surprise endings that he is known for, but this is inventful humor from start to finish. I reccomend this for children ages 9 and up.
