Gerald Ford was the only President never to be elected either President or Vice President. He was hand picked by Richard Nixon. He kept mellow, never making outrageous proposals to the people. He made three tax cuts during his short term. He was asked to run as Vice President with Ronald Regan in 1979 but he refused. .
