Legislative
The senate and the house of represenatives
make up congress. Both must agree on a law before it can be passed. The
senators have a term of six years. To be a senator you must be thirty years
or older. You must also have been a citizen of the U.S. for at least nine
years and you must be a resident of the state you were elected from. Represenatives
have a term of two years . To be a represenative you must be twenty-five
or older. You also must have been a citizen of the united states for a
least seven years and you also have to be a resident of the state you were
elected from. All members of congress are elected by Americans.Two
senators represent each state. The total number of senators is 100. The
least number of representatives a state can have is one.We hope you have
