The architects of Soldier Field were the architectural firm of Holabird and Roche.

When was it built?

Soldier Field was finished in 1924. When it was built, it was called Grant Park Stadium. The building was renamed in 1925 in honor of the soldiers who were killed in World War 1. The Bears didn't begin to play there until the 1970s.

How many people can it hold?

Soldier Field was made to hold 55,000 people, but it has held more. One time in 1927 100,000 came to watch a heavyweight boxing match. For Bears games, it holds 66,000.

Soldier Field was made to have a neoclassical look, with lot of columns like a Greek temple, like the Field Museum of Natural History which is nearby.

Where is it located?

Soldier Field is located at 425 East McFetridge Drive. Traffic there is very busy because of people going to the Museum of Natural History and Soldier Field.
