Egyptian Lifestyle

Rich life- Of every civilization of the past the Egyptians were probably the least in to war. They had desserts and seas to protect them and thus need not to worry much. They buuilt cities near the Nile because they could use it as a highway for trade and food. Rich and poor alike lived in houses of mud brick. Though the rich had majestically colored walls and straw mats and rugs on the floor. Upper class peopl often spent time working on their appearance. Also, beleive it or not, silver was more precious than gold! Among the rich, men and women alike, would put green and black paint on their eyelids. Walls of the house were decorated with beautiful and bright frescoes(paintings of wonderful scenes usually on the walls.)

Lower Class- Lower class people were often farmers and had smaller less luxurious houses. Though they worshiped the same gods in the places, they were often treated with much less respect. They made less money and had very few valuable possesions. They wold make much less money and alost never had one single servant. As you can see, the poor had a much worse life than the rich.

Slaves- Slaves and prisoners were often used for building the pyramids, for example the ones at the Giza plateau. Also, slaves and prisoners would be used for entertainment and to serve the pharoah. So, as you can see about the slaves/prisoners too, had a low life, but theirs was the worst of all.
