Food

When they weren't eating bread, Ancient Egyptian's diet was made up of meat and vegetables. Most of the meat used was from cattle, sheep, and goats. Thanks to the Nile's water, Egyptians would be able to eat vegetables like radishes, cucumbers, leeks, beans, and lettuce. Instead of using sugar the Egyptians used honey.

We usually eat our big meal at supper time and we usually have a small lunch. But the Egytians had a big meal in the middle of the day and a light meal before bed.
