Cleopatra

Cleopatra was the most famous Egyptian queen. She was a descendant of the Ptolemies, a Greek family, which ruled Egypt for over 300 years. He father, at the time of his death, left the throne and royalty to Cleopatra and her brother. Shortly after that, her brother had Cleopatra exiled so that he could become the sole ruler of Egypt.

When Julius Caesar came to Egypt, Cleopatra thought of a scheme for getting into his palace to ask for help against her brother. She wrapped herself in a rug that was sent to Caesar. When he unwrapped the rug the beautiful Cleopatra jumped out. Caesar was soon captivated by Cleopatra and helped regain the throne to share with her brother. When Caesar went back to Rome, Cleopatra went with him and a couple of days later Caesar died. Many say that Cleopatra poisoned him.
