Nile River

Did you know the Nile River extends about 1,000 miles into Egypt? The Nile River flows upward into Egypt. Most people live near the Nile River so they could grow crops and have water. The Nile River flooded almost every June. Most farmers plant crops as early as April to try to avoid the flood. The delta spreads out as a triangle. The delta connects the Nile River to the Mediterrean Sea.
