Jobs of the Land

Most workers were farmers, miners, manufacturers, transporters, and traders. Miners would dig in the ground for limestone, copper, sandstone, gold, tin, and gemstones. Farmers would farm their crops near the Nile River and would grow corn, wheat, and trees for making paper. They would also grow fruits and vegetables. Some people would have jobs making bread, paper and other daily items needed.

Decisions, decisions...Today's jobs almost always involve computers, but if I were an Ancient Egyptian, I might work on a farm OR I might be a miner OR I might make things my people need.
