Jobs in Ancient Egypt

If you grew up in ancient Egypt and you were a man, you might have been a stone cutter who would cut the stone for making pyramids or a surveyor, who made sure the land was the right spot to build on.

Or maybe you could have been a mason who worked with stone, or a mortar maker who made the cement to hold the stones together. A carpenter was also a needed job to make sure the wood was at the right angle to measure.
