How To Make Circuits

If you want to make a series circuit you will have to do the following. Number one, you need to have a six volt battery, alligator wires, light bulbs, and switches. Start out by putting an alligator wire on one of the six volt battery posts (positive or negative). Secondly take the other end of the wire and connect it to a light bulb. Then take a wire and hook it to the other end of the light bulb and then hook the other side of that wire to a switch. At the other side of the switch put on a wire. The other side of that wire should be hooked to another light bulb. If you're getting bored don' t worry, were almost done with the series circuit. Finally, hook an alligator wire to the other side of the light bulb and then hook that wire up to the other post of the six volt battery. When you're completely finished you should be able to turn the switch on and the light bulbs should both turn on. If you unscrew a light bulb, the other light bulb should go out because you're not having a complete circuit.

Parallel Circuit

To begin a Parallel Circuit you need a nine volt battery at least six alligator clip wire, and two light bulbs. First connect an alligator clip wire to one pole of the battery. Connect the other side of that wire that you are currently using to one side of the light bulb. Connect a wire on the other side of the bulb. Connect the other side of that wire to one side of the switch. Take another wire and a clip it on to the other side of the switch. With the wire you are currently using, clip it on to the other pole of the battery. Repeat those steps over to create a Parallel Circuit and then you have made a Parallel Circuit
