JAT-Q: (Jacob,Adam,and Tom,JAT Teammates)What do you have to know to be an electrician?

 

Dean-A: What sized wire to use, where to put outlets and switches, how many circuits you need, and how much to put on each circuit.

 

 JAT-Q: How do you know if a wire you're working on has electricity?

 

 Dean-A: You use a volt meter to see if you if there's electricity in it.

 

JAT-Q: What causes a fuse blowout?

 

 Dean-A: Over loading a circuit.

 

JAT-Q: What is the difference between 110 and 220?

 

Dean-A: 220 takes bigger wire, and 220 will carry more electricity than 110.

 

JAT-Q: What is a good conductor for electricity?

 

 Dean-A: Copper is the best conductor.

 

JAT-Q: Can you use two different types of wiring together, like copper and aluminum?

 

Dean-A: No.
