CHIHUAHUA WORLD
Hola! My name is Tiny. I'm a chihuahua from Mexico. I have been known since the 400's. No, I haven't lived that long, but other chihuahuas have. You have probably seen some of my pictures, and yes, I am related to the Chinese Crested dog. (But I think I'm much, MUCH cuter than those dogs!) I'm not trying to brag.
Anyway, did you know that I'm the world's smallest toy dog?! I weigh 1-5 pounds. I'm only 5 inches tall! Wow! (That's teeny tiny!) My friend Pugsly (the pug) is the worlds largest toy dog! The complete opposite of me! My species has two kinds of coats. They are short haired and long haired. I'm a short haired. Well, I'll tell you how I, and other chihiuahuas look. Well I think I already told you a little about that, but, who cares? I have a very round head. (I think it's the biggest thing I have ever seen, but I don't tell many people that!) I have large ears and huge dark eyes. I have a round rib-cage and very thin legs. Well, for right now I guess that's all I have to say about how I look.
I run really fast! (I can even beat Pugsly at a twenty foot race!) No one has ever really recorded how fast I run, but I think that I run about 7 mph. (In case you don't know what that means, it is miles per hour.)
Don't you wonder why I am just sooo small? I don't really know the answer to that. Really I was just asking you! I do have one neat fact about that though. A really long time ago I (well, not me other chihuahuas) used to be called pillow dogs. I was a called pillow dog because my owners would let me sleep in pillows to keep them warm! Very, interesting. Isn't it?
