Oh, and I'm a dachsund. You know, those cute little doggies that you can't stop hugging. Okay, well...I'm going to get on with my column.
Dear Heidi,
I have a pug and I'm wondering, do dachsunds and pugs get along? I really want a dachsund but I love my pug and I don't want him feeling bad. My question is; does my pug want a dachsund?

Dear Depressed,
All dogs can get along. But if you want the dachsund/pug relationship to work out at it's best ability, you really have to think about your pug. Ask yourself, is my pug dominant enough to hurt the dachsund? Well, if you do get a dachsund, acknowledege that all friendships take time- this is true with people,too. Oh, one thing...are you ready for a dachsund?

I'm a new weenie-dog owner, I just bought a a short-haired one that I truly love! I'm not sure if I should keep my dachsund in my house or outside in a kennel. My mom said that she doesn't want any dog hair floating around, because she's allergic. Can you

To tell you the very truthiest truth, I would hate to be kept outside in a kennel or doggie igloo. So, why put your dog through such pain? I have got a very good fact for you though. Short haired dachsunds
