Description

"These little creatures sound kind of cute!"

Mudskippers are 4.25 inches long and are meat-eaters. Mudskippers can walk, jump, and swim but they spend most of their time out of the water. While in water their lateral line helps keep them under-water.

Mudskippers have a torpedo-shaped body that is very handy for fast swimming (swimming away from larger animals, or catching prey). The pectorial fin is strong enough to support their weight!
