"Being big makes us feel grand!"
The largest living animal is the blue whale. Adult
blue whales weigh 130 tons or more and are the size of two and a half
school buses. An adult blue whale's tongue is about the weight of an elephant and
its fins have the same bones as the human arm. The female fins and
body are larger than the male's. The female blue whale makes larger jumps
than the male when
alarmed.
