Crabs

Crabs are another type of invertebrate besides the fossil type of trilobites. Crabs, like Harpactocarcinus Punctulatus, look much like our crabs of today. They lived in the Eocene Period. Another example of a prehistoric crab is Archaeocypoda Veronensis. It also lived during the Eocene Period. In addition to these crabs, the King Crab is also a type of modern day crab that lived in the prehistoric period.
