The Hubble Telescope
It’s a space satellite,
It’s pictures are awesome,
It’s everyone’s delight.

The mirror is very large,
The panels use the sun,
The world’s very proud.
The Hubble’s #1.

Alan Shepard	Big Bang
I was a fighter pilot in	Twelve billion years ago,
The great space race,	The universe was one mass
I only went up for 15 minutes	And then a cosmic explosion
But I was the first American in space.	To make the galaxies came to pass

I was the first golfer on the Moon	During the Big Bang,
In 1971	Gases were released,
I’m in the Astronaut Hall of Fame	They collected into galaxies
In the state known for the Sun	And their temperature decreased.

Supenova	Our Shining Star
Supernovas are quite rare	The Sun is so big
They used to cause a scare	It is so very hot
It shined so bright	It gives us heat and light all day
It lit up the night, and	I think I'm feeling hot
It was quite a sight!	The sun holds us in place
Supernova is an exploding star,	It never let us go
You can see it from near and far	It might explode in a billion years
The brightest was in ten fifty four	Uh Oh, I better go!
After that there were a few more.
Before the star is dead,
It swells up and turns red
It explodes into the galaxy
For scientists to see

There’s garbage up in space
Like old satellites
Tools and pieces of spacecraft too
That can bump you in the night.

It’s orbiting the Earth
This stuff called space pollution
Gravity can pull it down
So we really need a solution.
