
After an exciting game of Spaceball, relax and enjoy
some space snacks. Some of these recipes use the oven and stove. Have an adult assistant
available.
Flying Saucer Pizza
(Makes 10 mini pizzas) *** Adult assistance

Ingredients:
1 package of refrigerator biscuits, 10 per package
1/2 c. (about 118.3 ml) pizza sauce
1 c. (about 236.6 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 T. (about 29.6 ml) parmesan cheese, optional
Non-stick cooking spray
Steps to Take:
1. Preheat oven to 400o F (204o
C).
2. Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil to speed
clean-up.
3. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
4. Place biscuits on foil about 2 inches (5 cm)
apart.
5. Spread the top of each biscuit with pizza sauce.
6. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until baked and bubbly.
Remove from oven with oven mitts.
8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Asteroid Bread
(Makes 40 small pieces) ***Adult assistance
required***
Ingredients:
1 package of refrigerator biscuits, 10 per package
1/4 c. (about 59.2 ml) margarine
1/4 t. (about 1.23 ml) cinnamon
1/4 c. (about 59.2 ml) brown sugar
Non-stick cooking spray
Steps to Take:
1. Preheat oven to 375o F (190o
C).
2. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil to speed
clean-up.
3. Lightly spray the sheet with non-stick cooking
spray.
4. Place margarine in medium-sized microwave-safe
bowl.
5. Melt margarine on high heat for about one minute.
6. Remove bowl from microwave with oven mitts.
7. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to margarine. Stir
to mix.
8. Open biscuit container and separate into 10
biscuits.
9. Have an adult cut each biscuit into four pieces
using a knife.
10. Dip each biscuit piece into sugar/cinnamon
mixture. Coat all sides. Place on cookie sheet.
11. Bake 8 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
12. Remove from oven with oven mitts and cool for 5
minutes.
13. Remove from cookie sheet with a turner.
Pudding Craters

Ingredients:
Packaged pudding mix, flavor of choice
Milk
1/2 c. (about 118.3 ml) of chocolate morsels
or hard shelled chocolate candy morsels
Steps to Take:
1. Prepare pudding according to package directions.
2. Pour into serving dish(es).
3. Hold morsels in hand about 8 inches (20.3 cm)
above serving dish.
4. Drop morsels into pudding to form cratered
surface.
Rings and Comets Bars
(Makes about 24) ***Adult assistance required***
Ingredients:
3 T. (about 44.36 ml) butter or margarine
4 c. (about 1 l
) small marshmallows or 40 large
6 c. (about 1.5 l) crisp rice cereal
and toasted oat cereal in circle shapes, mixed
Sprinkles
Non-stick cooking spray
Steps to Take:
1. Spray an 13 x 9 x 2 inch (33 x 23 cm) pan
with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large saucepan, melt the margarine over
medium heat.
3. Add the marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows
are melted.
4. Remove from heat. Stir in combined cereal.
5. Press mixture into prepared pan.
6. Cover lightly with sprinkles.
7. Cut into 24 pieces.
Jupiter Pops
(Makes 10)
Ingredients:
Fruit juice of choice
10 wooden craft sticks
10 small. paper cups
Foil
Steps to Take:
1. Place paper cups upright in a flat container that
will fit in your freezer.
2. Cut foil into squares large enough to cover cup
opening.
3. Cut opening in the center of each foil square.
4. Pour juice into cups leaving 1/4" (6.35 mm)
at top of cup.
5. Place foil over cup opening and insert wooden
craft stick.
Sun Tea
(Makes 1 1/2 qt or 1.5 l)
Ingredients:
4 tea bags
1 1/2 qt (about 1.5 l) cold water
Steps to Take:
1. Place tea bags in 2 quart (about 2 l) clear glass
container.
2. Add tea bags and cover.
3. Let stand in full sun for 2 to 3 hours or until
desired tea strength is reached.
4. Remove tea bags and refrigerate.
