Neptune

Hello and welcome to Neptune, the 8th planet from the sun. As we leave the aircraft, you will need to put on a very thick snowsuit, a hat and thick gloves, because the temperature here is -346 degrees Fahrenheit! Also, you will need to wear a jet-pack because Neptune is the fourth gas giant in the Milky Way Galaxy. This means that there are no solid parts on the surface. Except for the cold, unbreathable atmosphere of hydrogen, helium, and methane, it would be nice to live here, because you would be pretty young. 1 year on Neptune is 165 Earth years! Each day is only 17 hours and 6 minutes long! Another problem is it is 2.77 billion miles from the sun.

Neptune is the fourth to the biggest planet, with a diameter of about 30,760 miles. Neptune was dicovered in 1846 by Johann Gottfried Galle, a successful astronomer.

Right now we are 2,800 miles from the sun. If you look to the right, Earth is supposed to be in that space of black. The reason you can't see it is because Neptune is so far from Earth, that you can't see it with the naked eye.

Well, our time on Neptune is just about up, so let's to the next planet in our solar system, Pluto!
