Nefertiti is Ankhenaton's wife. She had six daughters and possibly some sons. But, because sons weren't listed as heirs, Tutankhamen may have been her son.
Some believe that Nefertiti instituted the religion change from Amon. They believe this because there are more statues of her than Ankhenaton. Her name is also in a cartouche.
About year 15 Nefertiti disappears. Nefertiti may have died or because of religion change she was banished.
