Q: Why was it so interesting to fly a plane?
A: I used to travel a lot for business and I wanted to see what it would be like to sit in the cockpit I also thought that it would be fun and interesting to see the Earth from a few thousand feet high.
Q: What types of planes did you fly?
A: I flew a Cessna 152, 172 172-RG and a piper cadet.
Q: Do you rather fly alone or with someone ?
A: I like to fly with someone. On a long trip you have someone to talk to and you have an extra pair of eyes to look for traffic.
Q: Which plane did you like the best?
A: I like to fly the Cessna 172-RG. It flies faster and higher. It also is a more complicated plane to fly. The RG stands for retractable gear so you have to remember to put the wheels down before you land.
Q: Which plane did you dislike the most?
A: I disliked the Cessna 152 because it was cramped. This plane only has 2 seats and they are very close together.
Q: What did it feel like to fly a plane?
A: It is a wonderful feeling. Yes you are busy flying the airplane, looking for traffic, navigating, talking on the radio, and checking the weather. Even though that seems like a lot to do, most of the time it is very quiet and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery below you.
Q: What was your favorite part in flying an airplane?
A: My favorite part in flying an airplane is to enjoy the landscape from the air. The areas around Long Island, and the tri-state area are really very pretty and interesting.
Q: What do you dislike most about flying an airplane?
A: I dislike having to deal with bad weather because that would prevent me from flying.
