What are the Blue Angels?
The Blue Angels are the U.S. Navy's precision flight demonstration team. They perform around the country. They are beautiful blue and yellow airplanes flown by very skilled pilots.
What is Fat Albert Airlines?
Fat Albert is an airplane operated by an all Marine Corps crew. This airplane carries 25,000 pounds of sophisticated parts and equipment, 46,000 pounds of fuel, and a specialized maintenance and support team. Four Allison turboprop engines provide the power to land on and depart a field short as 2,500 feet.
What are the Support Groups?
There are some of the support groups for the Blue Angeles. They are the Maintenance Control, Supply, Avionics, Public Affairs and Events, Power Plants, Crew Chiefs, Fat Albert Airlines, Life Support, Quality Assurance, Video, Airframes and Paint Shop, Administration, Medical and Safety, and Chief Petty Officers.
