Mr. O₃ says that Ozone =O₃. One Ozone molecule equals 3 O₃(oxygen) atoms.  Ozone is crucial to Earth.  It harms and/or protects life on Earth.   It protects us from the sun’s ultraviolet radiation, yet ground level ozone can irritate the nose and the throat, or damage lung tissues and plants. It’s a thin layer of atmosphere.  Without Ozone we would be more susceptible to skin cancer, cataracts, and impaired immune systems.
