Here are some examples of some questions that will be useful on the quiz !

You can figure examples 1-5  out by dividing the number of grams by 15 and you will have your answer in units.

Example 1. I ate 30 grams of carbohydrates, how much insulin did I have? I had 2 units because  30 grams of carbohydrates divided 15 grams of carbohydrates = 2 units of insulin

Example 2. I ate 45 grams of carbos, how much insulin did I have? I had 3 units of insulin because 45 grams of carbo. divided by 15 grams= 3 units of insulin.            

Example 3. I had 60 grams. of carbos. how many units of insulin? I had 4 units of insulin because 60 grams of carbo. divided by 15 grams of carbo.= 4 units of insulin.

Example 4.  I had 90 grams of carbos so how many units did I have? I had 6 units of insulin because 90 grams of carbo. divide by 15 grams of carbo.= 6 units of insulin.

Example 5. I had 330 grams of carbos how many units did I have? I had 22 units because 330 grams of carbo. divided by 15 grams= 22 units of insulin

Example 6. I took 2 units of insulin How many grams carbos. did I have? I had 30 grams of carbos. because 2 times 15 grams = 30 grams of carbos.      

If you have a problem like example 6 all you have to do is multiply the number they give you by 15.
