Sleep
Many people wonder about what happens to you when you fall
asleep. What are dreams? Why do people sleep walk? What is REM? I'll try
to anwser some of these questions in our web page. Pleasant dreams!
Dreams
No one knows whywe have dreams. Everybody dreams, blind people,
the deaf and dumb, mentally retarded people. They all dream in different
ways. The blind feel and listen in their dreams and the deaf watch and
feel. The mentally retarded dream like you and I, seeing and hearing their
dreams.
People don't know what dreams are but they have a pretty
good idea what they could be. Some think that dreams are feelings that
we had recently felt, such as if you were angry it would have different
wave activity as if you were happy.
What does Dreaming do?
History
Dreams were controversial for the Greek's as far back as
2,000 B.C. They thought dreams were a connection to the gods.
Brain Tumors
Brain tumors are most commonly found in children and adolescents
(0-19)in United States. Brain cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer-leading
deaths. About 2,200 new central nervous systen carears are diagnosed in
the United States each year in children and adolescents under 20 years
of age. The incidence rates 27.2 cases per million.
