Pluto

    This Page is for Pluto.  Here are some facts of Pluto: Did you know that a few months after Pluto was discovered the famous Walt Disney's newest character Pluto came out.  Pluto is the ninth planet for 228 of its 248 years so it is the eighth planet for 20 years.  Pluto has one moon named Charon that is about half the size of Pluto it takes Charon six days for it circle Pluto.   Pluto has not yet been reached by a space probe.  It is a frozen planet that when it gets closer to the Sun the solids turn to gases.  Pluto was discovered in 1930 by Astronomer Clyde Tombaugh.  It is believed that there is a more distant planet than Pluto.  More info.
