Mars
First of all Mars is the fourth planet from
the Sun. It has two moons, Phobos and Deimos. It was
named after the Greek god Mars, meaning Warrior. Many people think that Mars could
support life if it had water, this is false because Mars's atmosphere is made 95.32% of
Carbon Dioxide and only .13% Oxygen. Did you know that the Egyptians named Mars 'Her
Descher' meaning the red one. If Earth equals 1 than Mars's mass compared to
Earth is 1.0845 and Mars's orbital period is 686.98. It has a Carbon Monoxide
reading of .07% of it's atmosphere.
