Quill Pen The children wrote with a feather that had a cut at the end. Step 1: Cut the tip of a quill. A turkey feather will make a fine quill. Cut the middle of the shaft about half an inch. Cut other side away.Step 2: Sharpen the one side to a point. Dip the end into ink then brush off the excess ink. You don’t have to press down hard to get the ink off. The tip will quickly get dull. To sharpen it wash off the ink and then sharpen it. |
