Sea Lions love to play.  They are great body boarders.  They can take on the biggest waves. The two kinds of Sea Lions are Steller and North America.
Both can soar  through the water at an amazing speed. They use their flippers as oars. The hind flippers serve as rudders  and the foreflippers as oars. Sea Lions can dive as deep as 12,000 ft.

Sea Lion babies are called pups. The reason being they look like pups with. They spend  their time fighting each other, chasing each other, and throwing their food. Like real babies, they need a lot of sleep. Most often they use each other as pillows.
