Sea Otters

Sea otters were once hunted down to the very edge of extinction for its beautiful silky fur. His head, throat, and chest are a creamy white. He has a large head and a short neck and two sharp pointed ears like a shiny spear partially hidden underneath the dense fur. His hind feet are long, like a flipper, his forefeet are smaller. The sea otters are rarely seen on land . They spend a lot of time eating and floating on the water. Their diet includes crabs, Sea Urchins and abolones.

The Sea Otters don't have their pups until about three years olds. Then they only breed every two years.

Fortunately they are now protected by the government.
