The Least Tern
You can identify the least tern by it's long narrow
wings and it's forked black tail. Like all other animals the least tern
has a scientific name. The scientific name of the least tern is Sterna
Antillerum Browni. The least tern lives in mexico, Baja California,
and California when it is the breeding season. People believe that they
least tern spends it winter days along the Pacific coast of Central America.
They also live in San Diego, San Francisco, San Obispo County, and Orange
County.
The least tern is endangered because of water pollution. The
Least Tern is an opportunist feeder and they are known to eat a t least
50 different species of fish.
