What is it?

Tobacco is a deadly substance. It is in most drugs. It is also a drug itself. It is a green gum-like substance. Some baseball players are bad role models because they chew it. Tobacco is an introduction drug meaning you start with it and it leads you to other drugs. If you wanted to know what it would be like to try it buy a pack of Big League Chew and put it in your mouth and imagine it tastes worse than Brussels sprouts.

What does it do to your body?

Smoking a cigar, pipe, or a cigarette which all contain tobacco you can get cancer of the lungs and become addicted. If you get addicted you can’t stop taking the drug without help from a drug-resistant gum or patch.

Why it’s dangerous?

If you chew tobacco you can get cancer of the mouth. If you smoke it from inside a cigarette it can make it very hard to breathe. Your blood can also get clogged because of the tar that’s in the cigars etc.. The tar gets attached to your vein and it gets thinner and it makes it harder for the blood to run. The tobacco plant is the only known plant that has the substance nicotine. If a small amount of nicotine is injected into the blood-stream it can kill a human in less than an hour.
