| What is it? LSD is an abbreviation for Lysergic Acid Diethylamide. LSD can be a very tiny tablet, something you can put on a piece of paper, and occasionally a liquid. LSD was founded in the year 1938. It is manufactured from lysergic acid which is found in ergot, a fungus that grows on rye and other grains. LSD is commonly known on the streets as "acid". Its odorless, colorless, and is usually taken by the mouth even thought it has a slightly bitter taste to the mouth. What does it do to your body? To take the drug you have to lick it. When you lick it, LSD makes you hallucinate which means you can think or see something that doesnt exist. Usually the user of the drug feels the first effects of the drug in 30-90 minutes after the drug has been taken. If the drug is taken you can feel increased blood pressure, dilated pupils, higher body temperature, tremors, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, and dry mouth. Why is it Dangerous? It could be very dangerous if you are in a car and you hallucinate and think your doing something else like dancing, and you could turn the wheel the wrong way and crash! In the 1960s and early 1970s the dosage ranged from 100 to 200 micrograms. Never Do LSD! |
