These are some words that you may hear when learning about the dangers of drugs.

ASSERTIVENESS- A honest, direct and fair expression of your feelings.
CONSEQUENCES- The result of something you choose to do or choose not to do.
DRUG- Any substance besides food that changes the way your mind and body work.
DRUG ABUSE- The misuse of drugs.
PRESSURE- A force or influence placed on you o something.
PEER PRESSURE- force or influence placed on you to do something your age.
SELF-ESTEEM- The way you feel about your self.
STRESS- A pressure or strain felt about a situation or event.
STRESSORS- Situations or events that produce stress.
VIOLENCE- A destructive action directed towards people, places, and things.
