About the Authors

Ellen is a 12-year-old in sixth grade. In past years Ellen has competed in other ThinkQuest Junior competitions. She enjoys listening to music (her favorite bands are N*SYNC, Blink 182, and Blaque to name a few), talking with friends, horse-back-riding, and participating in gymnastics. She is also a cheerleader who enjoys volleyball and admiring artwork at art museums. Her favorite colors are silver, baby blue, and orange. Ellen is very excited about this ThinkQuest Junior competition!

Darcy is a 12-year-old whose favorite sport is softball. Darcy’s hobbies are horseback riding, craft making, painting, and constantly doodling. Her favorite color is silver. Darcy’s favorite music includes N*SYNC, Alanis Morissette, and Christina Aguilera. She made a website with ThinkQuest Jr. in 1999.

Kristine is in sixth grade and liked making this website this year because she learned a lot of interesting facts about each of these artists. She also made a website last year and that is why she wanted to make another one. Kristine likes to hang out with friends and talk to them on the phone. She also likes to sit in her room and listen to music. Kristine has a lot of fun baby sitting for people.

Laura is a 12-year-old who likes pom pon, baseball, and dance. Laura likes to talk on the phone with her friends. She also enjoys listening to music. She likes to draw and to paint, and her favorite color is yellow. Last year, Laura competed in the ThinkQuest Junior website competition and has had fun participating in ThinkQuest again this year.

Amy is an 11-year-old whose favorite sports are gymnastics, cheerleading, hockey, soccer, and volleyball. She enjoys acting and hanging out with her friends. She likes to listen to music, including Juvenile, Will Smith, and N*SYNC. Amy created a ThinkQuest Junior website last year.
