You run over to the old table and start throwing the papers behind you. After a few seconds of searching, you find the manual! "Yes, I might live!" You jump over the patches of fire that have developed while you were searching for the manual and enter the cockpit. You quickly open the book, and strangely to the right page. You read the first sentence. You follow the directions on the page and press a few buttons. The fire was put out and the self-destruct turned off. Half the page is ruined! You must fix it!
