The originator of the revolver was Samuel Colt. He got a suggestion from Samuel H. Walker, a Texas Ranger.
The Machine Guns
The first machine gun was the Gattling gun. The Union army in the Civil War first used this gun. Hiram Maxim invented the automatic machine gun. It fired about 600 rounds per minute nonstop.
