Guns

Since the late nineteenth century guns have been muzzle loaded or dropped into the gun.  When the powder has been ignited, it is called flintlock musket.  Chinese cannons first appeared in the thirteenth century.  Breech loaded means that the ammo is put in the firing chamber at the other end of the gun from the muzzle.  Artillery is small arms like rifles, pistols, cannons and mortars.  Naval cannons were used in European battleships in 1346.
