Tenrecs
Tenrecs are strange creatures that can only be found on Madagascar These are some of the most primitive living mammals. Tenrecs were probably the first mammals to arrive on Madagascar. They are small and furry and look like hedgehogs. Tenrecs store fat in their long tails during food shortages. They eat insects. Tenrecs are found all over Madagascar. Their meat is considered a delicacy.
