The Eastern wooly avahi has become an endangered specie because of habitat destruction. There has been a lot of burning and clearing of the forest. The animals have lost much of their food supply. The avahi is a small animal with a 1 ˝ foot body.
The indri is three-foot-tall black and white animal, with a very short tail. They are nocturnal (which means that they look for food at night), they live in small groups. They are called the dogs of the forest because their howl can be heard within a mile.
